B222 Shadow Black 450 Size Helicopter from RotorScale - PNP - RSH0006P

Introducing RotorScale’s new lineup for sport scale PNP helicopters! At Motion RC, we believe there is more to RC helicopters than 3D aerobatic flying, so we’re excited to bring together scale realism and modern mechanics in an economical, user-friendly package.

With the quality of Roban fiberglass fuselages the RotorScale 450 PNP Helicopter Series seeks to bring scale helicopter flying within the reach of pilots with basic collective pitch flight experience who are looking to move upward toward larger scale 500-800 size helicopters.

Using a 4S 1600mAh - 2200mAh battery, fly for 5-6 minutes while exploring the flight envelope of this sport scale stabilized helicopter. The durable fiberglass bodies are finished in automotive paint and clearcoat for durability, and feature sharp panel lines, rivets, and other surface details.

Digital servos provide precise and responsive action, and breakaway landing gear plates help divert damage during hard landings away from major frame components. If ever required, the internal frame can be completely removed from the body in a few minutes with eight screws. Fully backed by Motion RC’s world renowned service, a complete line of spare parts is available to keep you flying.

Hello Stephen, It does not have thrust vectoring, but it does fly just light a full-size helicopter. It will hover, move forwards, backward, move left and right. Alos pivot 360º. Regards,

I have two questions about this chopper, one serious, one not-so-serious. 1: Does every purchase come with an MP3 of the Airwolf theme on microSD card? 'Cause you can't help but play that when flying it! 2: In all seriousness, is there a nitro version? I've no love for electric but would be all over one of these if it was nitro.

The RotorScale helicopters are small electric helicopters that come mostly assembled ( you have to add your own receiver and flybarless gyro). They would be too small to take a nitro engine. Motion RC does have some bigger heli kits that might work with a Nitro.

I pulled the guts out to get it set up, they don't give the gear ratio or pinion and drive gear size, it was easier to count and set up this way. The frame by itself sits perfectly level on my bench, setup is easier. Next step is to get it in the air....still cold here in Minnesota!

This airplane already had high...read moreI needed to power the receiver on my Seagull Super Chipmunk (Spektrum AR8360T+), but I didn't want to use the BEC that is internal to my ESC. This airplane already had high wing-loading (34 ounces/square foot), and this UBEC weighs only 51 grams. I could have used a two-cell LiFe battery, but for any decent capacity, the weight would have been 102 grams. I also like that it's super easy to set the output voltage by pressing the button provided (no fancy programming required). I also like that there are two pairs of red and black output wires which provides less resistance between the UBEC and my receiver. So far, I’m a happy camper.

However that comes up easily and safely with an alcohol prep. Double boxed and good packaging. Important: this comes with the wheel well and landing lights. It's not mentioned anywhere in the description, but that's a nice touch that'll save you $80. No need to order the scale detail parts kit. Very pleased about that.

It’s a great flying aircraft, looks are excellent only one problem in my opinion to heavy on nose gear, wheels are too stiff if you are not on the mains at touchdown it will bounce. The new V2 has great detail and you can get it with a gyro if you get the gyro also get the programming module you’re going to need it for self leveling if pre installed
